I haven't had the chance to play through all of Mother 3 yet (I'm still stuck on... Chapter One XD;; SHUT UP I CAN'T READ IT XD!!) I know that the game deserves all the praise it gets. And what better way for me to praise it than with fanart?
Here's Flint, then ^^ I, uh, think I changed the colour of his pants (were they brown?) because I thought blue was better. Anyway, at first, I was kind of neutral to Flint, but during that one spoiler scene in Ch 1 I totally fell for him *__* Poor Flint. So it's only natural that my first Mother 3 fanart be of him, right? I tried a new colouring technique on this one, but it's really time consuming, so I won't be doing it that much XD The end result is nice, though. I hope to enter this in  's Mother 3 contest if it's still running. It's past the deadline, but I'll give it a try anyway!((ALSO: NO SPOILERS IN COMMENTS. I don't want to be spoiled further than I already have, and I'm sure nobody else who plans on playing it wants to be either. Thank you, guys! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Useless fact/trivia of the week;It is illegal to Federal Express yourself.
I'm thinking about trying to get myself into Earthbound again because last time some explodey *cougheemulatorscough* got in the way. Which is a shame, because I adore the concept of the game and can tell that there's a lot of stuff in it that I'd enjoy. Any RPG that references the Beatles more than once is a game for me.
...oh, RIGHT, back to the picture! XD; Sorry.
The brownish, worn out look works really well here and I really admire how you're able to pull off that "hairy-armed dad" motif without making him look too old. XD Also, the texture on the wood is lookin' mighty fine. Blue's done it again~!
